The 程序 is designed for those who wish to work in the human services field directly after completing their degree, including those who may already possess a college degree in a different field of study.

Field Experience/Internships

This 程序 provides two semesters of internships in the field in settings such as: mental health clinics, 社会服务机构, facilities for 老年人, child care institutions and public schools.

Internships are a critical part of the learning experience and the 程序 offers opportunities as varied as the goals of our students. Internships include working with a variety of populations, 比如孩子, 青少年, 同性恋群体, 无家可归的人, 老年人, developmentally disabled and refugees.

90% of our graduates become employed by their assigned agencies.

The Center for 职业生涯s and Transfer provides career resources and services and help in identifying your skills and interests and how they connect to career possibilities. Transfer counseling services are also available and a list of transfer agreements are posted.
